Welcome to the Cheyenne Trap and Skeet Club.

We are open to the public for trap and skeet shooting (membership is not required) on Wednesdays, from 12:00pm - till dark, and Sundays, from 9:00am - 2:00pm. We will open at other times/days for groups of 10 or more, call 307-256-1637 and talk with Dave Ayers to make arrangements.

New shooters are always welcome! Club Board members will gladly show you around and help you get started. Our members are available for assistance or advice, if you need additional help.

Shotguns are available at NO CHARGE (courtesy of the NRA) for use; ammunition can be purchased in the clubhouse at the Shell House. The club does NOT accept Credit Cards; payments can be made with cash or personal check.

When shooting a round of trap or skeet, you will give the trap helper, a ticket or tickets. Tickets can be purchased in the clubhouse at the Shell House, $6.00 for a round (25 targets) of skeet, or Trap SINGLES or HANDICAP. Trap DOUBLES is 2-tickets for 25 pairs of targets. Club members receive discounted rates.

The club is sanctioned to hold registered shoots for ATA (trap) and NSSA (skeet) competitions. More information can be found at our Trap Tournaments and Skeet links.

We have 9 trap fields and 2 skeet fields, an air-conditioned clubhouse, and 14 spaces available for Campers & RVs during tournaments.

The use of Magnum ammunition is prohibited. Shot shell shot size must be no larger than 7.5 and no smaller than size 9.

Shotguns must be unloaded and breeches open while being transported on the facility.

The club is located at 5320 Bishop Blvd, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82009 (behind WYDOT).

Cheyenne Trap  & Skeet Club is a non-profit organization that supports various charities that include, Cheyenne Needs, Cheyenne Safe House, Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics, National Wild turkey Foundation, Wyoming Game and Fish, special Friends, Friends of the NRA, 4-H, Wyoming Wildlife Federation, Cheyenne Animal Shelter and other charitable wildlife and habitat organizations.
